Raymond R. “Rip” Davenport, CLU ChFC, is the CEO of Davenport and Associates insurance agency that specializes in the sale and implementation of employee benefits, individual, life, disability and health, group medical insurances and employee benefits.

Entering the insurance industry in June, 1970, he has worked in all areas of insurance commerce including, sales, training, and (agency) and home office executive management, leading to his opening Davenport and Associates and an independent Life and Health agency in May, 1994. Davenport and Associates works to assist customers in the establishment of long term insurance strategies for both personal and employee benefit needs.

Mr. Davenport has been a member of the Life Underwriters Association, having received both the National Sales Achievement and National Quality Award. He is also a lifetime member of the MDRT and holder of the CLU and ChFC, and has served as the president of the McAllen Rotary Club, 2005-2006.
